Voice Changer

Turn any recording into a different voice. Re-voice a file, mic recording, or YouTube clip into a target voice while keeping the original words, timing, and emotion.

Voice Changer takes an existing recording and re-voices it in a different speaker's identity. The words, timing, and emotion of the original performance stay intact, but the voice becomes the target you choose. It is the fastest way to convert a take you already have into another voice without re-recording or re-typing anything.

It runs on the Chatterbox engine.

Voice Changer vs Voice to Voice

Both Voice Changer and Voice to Voice convert your audio into a different speaker, and both can be routed through a virtual mic for Discord, Slack, and more. The difference is what they preserve. Voice Changer keeps the speaker identity of the source, including its emotion, pacing, inflection, and accent, so the new voice carries your exact delivery. Voice to Voice does not preserve that timing and emotion. Use Voice Changer when you want to keep the original delivery, and Voice to Voice otherwise.

How It Works

1. Add Your Source Audio

Load the recording you want to convert. You have two options:

  • Upload a file - Select a WAV, MP3, or other common audio file from your computer.
  • Record from your mic - Capture a take directly in the app.

2. Choose a Target Voice

Pick the voice you want the recording to become:

  • From your library - Any saved, cloned, designed, or imported voice.
  • A reference clip - Record or upload a short reference clip for a target you do not need to save.
  • From YouTube - Paste a URL and pull the audio from a video.

A clean 10 to 20 second reference works best.

3. Convert

Run the conversion. Voice Creator Pro re-voices the source in the target speaker's identity while preserving the original delivery, then plays the result. The output is saved to your History so you can compare attempts and download the one you like.

What Is Preserved

Voice Changer keeps the performance and swaps only the voice:

  • Words - The script of the original recording is unchanged.
  • Pacing and timing - Speed, pauses, and rhythm carry over.
  • Inflection - The phrasing and emphasis of the source delivery are preserved.
  • Emotion - The emotional delivery of the source take is retained in the new voice.
  • Accent - The accent of the source performance comes through in the new voice.

This makes it ideal for keeping a performance you are happy with while changing who appears to be speaking.

Use Cases

Recast a Recording

Keep a take you like but change the voice, without asking the original speaker to re-record.

Consistent Character Voices

Convert placeholder or scratch recordings into a final character voice for games, animation, or video.

Nail a Difficult Emotional Take

When a line needs specific emphasis or emotion, perform it yourself to get the delivery exactly right, then run it through Voice Changer to convert it into your project's voice. You keep the performance you wanted while staying consistent with the rest of the project.

Privacy

Replace your own voice in a recording with a different identity while keeping exactly what was said and how it was said.

Localization Prep

Re-voice reference performances into a chosen target voice before further production.
